Jamie Oliver: ‘I Work Hard and Follow My Instinct as Much as Possible’

This month’s Collective Hub cover star, Jamie Oliver, offered no shortage of insights and F-bombs as he talked of his colourful career as the ever-reluctant businessman.

Given he’s the entrepreneur, food activist and media mogul, who went from “skint to a millionaire” in the six weeks after his first TV show launched nearly 20 years ago, you might be forgiven for thinking that every idea Jamie Oliver bakes instantly rises. But, as revealed in our interview above, there’s more to it than that.

“I work hard. I try and follow my instinct as much as possible,” he says. As for his advice to other entrepreneurs, Jamie’s nailed a formula: “Start small, be humble, try and employ the best people. Listen to your heart.”
