The Only Surviving Male Northern White Rhino Just Joined Tinder

He's up to get lucky.

A rhino

If you’re looking for love, chances are you’re on Tinder. So, why shouldn’t the last male northern white rhino join the matchmaking site too?

Sudan, also dubbed “the world’s most eligible bachelor”, has signed up (presumably not by himself) to the dating site in a campaign developed to raise awareness for his dwindling breed.

“I’m one of a kind. No, seriously. I’m the last male white rhino on Planet Earth,” his profile adorably reads. “I don’t mean to be too forward, but the fate of my species literally depends on me. I perform well under pressure.”

The campaign, organised by Ogilvy Africa, aims to raise money for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Sudan’s conservationists, to give IVF one last go, as the lonely rhino hasn’t successfully mated with the two remaining females of his species.

“I like to eat grass and chill in the mud,” his profile also reads. “No problems. Six-foot tall and 5,000lbs [2267kg], if it matters.”

He’s tall? Swipe right.
