Held in the tropical splendour of Watson’s Bay Boutique Hotel on Tuesday 7th February, our From Practice to Purpose breakfast, held in partnership with goal-kickers lululemon was a gathering of goal makers and goal achievers alike, all with the shared vision of better achieving goals in the future. Hosted by the charismatic Scenic Cycle founder Tom Sproats, we hosted 40 friendly guests for a healthy breakfast and an extended discussion on long-term visions and achievement of goals, all while maintaining a healthy balance and inclusion of wellness along the journey.
The morning began with a seven-minute meditation session with Kevin Jankelowitz of Centred Meditation, with a focus on the importance of incorporating of a daily meditation practice to achieve your goals, while also reducing stress and anxiety along the way.
Then we heard from our speakers: while author and creator of podcast Slow Your Home Brooke McAlery discussed the positives of how life simplification, a careful alignment of values and a minimalist approach to life can reduce stress and increase your enjoyment of life, ‘entertrainer’ and health and fitness expert Libby Babet considered how keeping busy can be the key to a more fulfilled existence, with fitness becoming less of a chore and more of a choice.
We also heard from Lululemon, and how a focus on fulfillment of vision and goals woven through the company has changed their trajectory and talked our guests through the process of setting their own vision, goals and on purpose daily habits.
The stunning floral displays were crafted by Sophia Kaplan, with the adorable pot plant presents were gifted by Leaf Supply, along with a gift bag of a Onne Beauty Moisturising Mask, our latest issue of Collective Hub magazine and a 2017 diary as well as a lululemon gift card. The day was perfectly captured by photographer Esteban La Tessa.
