Kick. Start. Smart. made its Melbourne debut on Friday November, 25, 2016; wrapping up the KSS event series for 2016. The remarkable line-up of speakers on this action-packed day addressed the audience on their lessons learnt in business and life.
A huge thanks goes to all of our incredible speakers: Daniel Flynn (Thankyou Group) who opened the day, Dan Gregory (The Impossible Institute) who took on MC duties in the morning before returning to the stage later on, Lisa Messenger (Collective Hub) who lead a conversation with good friend and multi-talented entrepreneur and entertainer, Natalie Bassingthwaighte (Chi Khi) before opening up to a tell-all Q+A with the audience, Bruce Poon Tip (G Adventures), Trent Innes (Xero), Phill Nosworthy, who flew in from China (yes, China) to attend and introduced the speakers for the second half of the day, Emma Seibold (Barre Body), Mark McDonald (Appster), Justin Dry (Vinomofo), Justine Flynn (Thankyou Group) and artist David Bromley.
The day would not have been possible without our fabulous sponsors: Acer, Lexus, G Adventures, Xero and Bank of Melbourne, as well as our wonderful team of exhibitors: ClassPass, Square, Proquo, Wellineux, Bubble Designs, MOO and Torrens University Australia.
A huge thanks to Creative Hire for building the event from the ground up and Melbourne Park Function Centre and Microhire for hosting us on the day. A special thanks also goes to Bespoke Botanics for styling the stage in collaboration with Dann Event Hire and Eclectic Creative, Jason Edwards for photographing the day, Loving Earth for the delicious treats, plus Retreat Yourself, Love Ludie, Napoleon Perdis, MooGoo, Heal’r and Stocksy for the wonderful goodie bags and The Organic Trainer for the speaker gift boxes.
Finally, the day could not have been possible without each and every wonderful attendee who brought the day to life. We thank all of our community for their ongoing support of the Kick. Start. Smart. event series and we look forward to returning to the events scene in 2017!
